This workshop is targeted to Practice Nurses.

Learning outcomes:

• Perform a comprehensive foot assessment on a person with Type 2 Diabetes within the scope of practice for specific health professionals
• Increased knowledge in prevention of foot complications in a person with Type 2 Diabetes
• Recognise the common foot conditions which occur when a person has Type 2 Diabetes
• Discuss the appropriate referral pathways for patients with foot complaints in rural regions of South Australia to ensure patient safety
