IUD Insertion - Train the Trainer

Dr Meredith Frearson, a General Practitioner with over 10 years experience in teaching other doctors to insert IUDs in both a clinic and General Practice setting, is offering a Category 1 RACGP approved activity for suitably qualified and experienced General Practitioners and Gynaecologists to become an IUD Insertion Trainer.

Dr Frearson will advise if you are successful and able to proceed with training. If you are unsuccessful, explicit reasons will be provided – e.g. lack of current Australian insertion experience or insufficient IUD insertions in preceding 2 years.
A course fee of $750 +gst is payable to Dr Frearson, which covers the cost of all facets of the Category 1 RACGP approved activity and includes her peer support throughout the training process, as well as documentation to assist with training. She will send you an invoice for payment. No doctor will be permitted to attend the 3 hour Workshop until payment has been received.
An administration fee of $80 per person will also be charged by sapmea for all doctors proceeding with the training.
