ECHO is a virtual peer-group learning model for primary health care providers, including general practitioners, nurses, allied health professionals and community health workers.

Through didactic presentation and case-based discussion, the ECHO program aims to build communities of practice to support primary healthcare providers gain knowledge and confidence to manage patients with complex conditions in their own local communities.

RACGP members who attend at least 4 sessions and present a patient case for discussion during the program will be eligible to receive 40 points (Cat 1) for a Reviewing Performance activity under the Peer-Group Learning model. RACGP members who do not present a case or attend fewer than 4 sessions, will still receive an attendance certificate to self-claim Cat 2 points. ACRRM members will be eligible to receive Case Discussion Credits under the Performance Review Category.
