Join us for a Shared Care Forum with GPs, SA Health Mental Health Services, and people with lived experience. The session will clarify roles, explore service capabilities, and share strategies to strengthen collaboration between lived experience, primary care, and mental health services.

LEARNING OUTCOMES: 

  • Understand the capabilities and constraints of General Practice when managing mental health concerns as part of a person-centered approach.
  • Understand the scope and constraints of SA Health Mental Health Services, including the severity of conditions managed and usual service responses.
  • Illustrate how realistic expectations can improve outcomes and strengthen partnerships between GPs, SA Health Mental Health Services, and people with lived experience
