General Practitioners, Medical officers, Midwives, Nurses and Paramedics working in Emergency Care settings are invited to attend this interactive full day workshop delivered through large group sessions, skills station training and simulation training.

This workshop will focus on neonatal emergency patient scenarios and examine acute management in regional and rural settings.

Learning outcomes:

  • Identify and assess neonates requiring non-routine care
  • Demonstrate neonatal monitoring techniques and investigations
  • Initiate timely management of common neonatal conditions
  • Communicate effectively as part of a team and escalate neonatal care appropriately
