Medical officers, General Practitioners, Nurses and Paramedics working in Emergency Care settings are invited to attend this interactive workshop delivered through small and large group discussions of clinical neurological emergency case scenarios.
Registration is required and as numbers for each session are limited please book early to avoid disappointment.
This workshop is pending RACGP/ACRRM accreditation and participants will receive a statement of attendance for 3.5 hours of CPD (3 hours Reviewing Performance, 0.5 hours Educational Activities).
Learning Outcomes:
1. Differentiate the clinical findings and role of risk stratification in the assessment of acute Severe Headache
2. Prioritise the immediate management of the adult with acute severe Migraine
3. Summarise the assessment, differential diagnosis and red flags in the patient presenting with Altered Conscious State
4. Discriminate the immediate investigations and management priorities in the patient with suspected Cerebrovascular Accident (CVA)
