SAPMEA is seeking expressions of interest from general practitioners to participate in an accredited evidence-based, quality improvement cervical screening clinical audit.

The clinical audit will be conducted over a 6-month period from December until June next year. The activity will be accredited with RACGP for 40 CPD points (category 1).

The aim of the audit is to analyse your cervical screen practice and compare it to best-practice clinical standards in order to identify changes needed to improve the quality of care.

The objectives of the audit are to:

• Analyse clinical practice of cervical screening against clinical guidelines and standards
• Identify areas and strategies for improvement of cervical screening practices
• Develop an action plan of strategies to improve patient care and safety

All interested general practitioners are invited to express their interest to cme@sapmea.asn.au.
