Inviting GPs, Nurses, Psychiatrist and other allied health professionals to join us for an engaging face-to-face workshop on mental health management.  Enhance your skills in diagnosing and managing depression, suicide and self-harm in general practice setting. This workshop offers a comprehensive learning experience and knowledge and tools needed for effective patient care.

Learning outcomes:

  • Identify key signs and assessment strategies for diagnosing depression in a general practice setting, along with summarizing management strategies and referral pathways for further care.
  • Describe modifiable and non-modifiable risk factors associated with suicide and self-harm, along with the principles underlying their assessment and management, including options available in the region.
  • Discuss the significance of effective documentation in the management of patients at risk for suicide and self-harm.
  • Compile resources and information on services and support groups available for patients concerning depression, suicide, and self-harm risk management.
