This HYBRID workshop is designed for GPs, nurses, and practice managers to enhance the recognition and management of conditions requiring timely intervention in primary care.

It covers red flags and referral pathways in paediatric rheumatology, and practical strategies for adult stroke prevention (primary and secondary care), supporting evidence-based decision-making to improve patient outcomes.

Learning Outcomes: 

  • Identify red flags in children with musculoskeletal symptoms suggestive of rheumatological disease.
     
  • Apply referral criteria for paediatric rheumatology in primary care.
     
  • Identify key risk factors and strategies for primary stroke prevention.
     
  • Implement secondary prevention to reduce recurrent stroke risk.
