Inviting GPs, Registrars & Nurses to attend this engaging and hands on experience training workshop.   

This workshop aims to provide updated information on utilising various dermatoscopes and for the identification and diagnosis of different types of skin cancers. Dr Gerry Considine will also demonstrate suturing techniques for biopsy and excision procedures, including flaps and grafts and participants will have the opportunity to practice them under his guidance.

Learning outcomes:

  • Explain the significance and application of various types of dermatoscopes in general practice.
  • Identify the key characteristics of different types of skin cancers through dermatoscopy, utilising the knowledge gained from attending webinar and engaging in discussions and quizzes. 
  • Demonstrate the execution of different planning and suturing techniques for biopsy and excision procedures, including flaps and grafts.
