The Doctors in Training Program is designed for junior doctors and trainees, PGY1 to PGY3.

ECG is an essential investigational and diagnostic tool in the care of the acutely ill patient. It is a skill that is often lacking in doctors. This is designed as a workshop style program, organised around case studies to maximise audience participation, and enhance understanding of the subject.

This workshop aims to break down the complexities of ECG interpretation primarily in the area of ACS. It will also cover the area of arrhythmia interpretation. You will have opportunities to test your ECG interpretation skills and ask that question you have always wanted to ask but was too afraid to do so!

The facilitator: Dr Herman Chua, Emergency Medicine Consultant, LMHS

Herman is a Senior Specialist in Emergency Medicine with over 20 years of clinical experience. He has been extensively involved in the education of junior doctors and trainees, having conducted workshops at local and national conferences and holding positions such as Director of Training and Examiner for ACEM.
