Inviting GPs, Nurses and allied health professionals to join us for this online workshop focused on enhancing the understanding and management of mental health in elderly people. This session will cover essential principles of assessing and addressing depression, explore the impact of social isolation and loneliness, and discuss complex psychiatric presentations. Participants will gain valuable insights into medication management and the importance of inter-professional collaboration in providing holistic care.

  • Summarise the principles of assessment and management of depression in elderly people.
  • Explore the importance of identifying and addressing factors contributing to social isolation and loneliness.
