Aimed for nurses and Aboriginal Health Professionals. This session will be held concurrently with the education session in Victor Harbor. The presenter will be streamed live and participants in Berri will be able to see and speak with the presenter and participants in Victor Harbor. There will be SAPMEA staff on site to support the delivery of this session.

Learning outcomes:

• Discuss the benefits and challenges of person-centred diabetes care
• Examine ways to approach the diagnosis of diabetes
• Examine the essential elements of a person-centred care approach as a health professional
