As this session is funded by Adelaide PHN, it is aimed for all health professionals working within the Adelaide metropolitan region.
This interactive workshop will provide primary healthcare professionals with the knowledge and skills to diagnose and manage people at risk of Non-Alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease (NAFLD) and/or with this condition, in order to prevent future complications.
At the end of the session, participants will be able to:
Identify patients at risk of NAFLD.
Discriminate between simple steatosis and NASH.
Diagnose NAFLD by using accurate and available tests.
Manage patients with NAFLD multidisciplinary using the best evidence-based approach.
